Responsibilities:
– Ensure codes are assigned correctly and sequenced appropriately as per government and insurance regulations
– Assign codes for PII,PHI, and other sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PCI, DSS, NPP guidelines and policies
– Review structured and unstructured data in a database quickly and accurately
Qualifications:
– Registered Nurse or Allied Health equivalent
– AAPC/AHIMA Certification with ICD10 Proficiency work experience
• At least 3 years of relavant experience in the field of Healthcare processing, Clinical practice, US Healthcare
– Experience in medical records
– Previous medical coding experience preferred
– Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office
– Exhibit sound knowledge of medical terminology
– Ability to work in a high-stress environment
– Amenable to work onsite and on a night shift schedule
