Responsibilities:
- Good programming skills
- Administer and support SQL server databases in a complex global data center environment
- Create applications to help Operations and other departments
- Help automate reports
- Pioneer in data collection and database management
- Assist in forecasting, scheduling, re-profiling and capacity planning
- Spotcheck badge and biometric logs
- Create and own coding projects
- Manage data across sites and projects
- Occasionally review CCTV footages
Qualifications:
- Understanding of contact center staffing concepts and applications
- Good self-management or requires minimal supervision
- Strong SQL code development, tuning and maintenance skills
- Ability to formulate queries to extract and manipulate data
- Ability to troubleshoot with SQL code and data access
- Extensive knowledge in SQL database clustering, mirroring, replication, data storage and virtualization technologies
- Willingness to run reports and analyze them
- Administer and support SQL server databases in a complex global data center environment
- Ability to provide 24×7 on-call DBA support for critical applications
- Willingness to work at night and on shifting schedule
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years related experience
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Computer Science/IT, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology and other IT related courses
- Strong skills in MS Excel and other MS Office tools
- Advanced knowledge in SQL Server/MySQL, MS Excel, MS Access required * Certification on SQL Server a major hiring factor
- Knowledge in UNIX, PHP, Java, C, C++, HTML, Javascript a plus
- Must be willing to work onsite.
