Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed and that safety equipment is available and in good condition
- Supervising the maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment, including hiring contractors for major projects
- Communicating with staff members to ensure that they are aware of any issues regarding safety or security
- Performing administrative tasks such as scheduling employees, ordering supplies, and arranging for repairs
- Monitoring equipment and machinery to ensure that they are in good working order
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment by complying with state and federal regulations regarding environmental issues such as waste disposal and recycling
- Coordinating activities with other departments within a facility or company, including human resources and security
- Monitoring employee attendance and making sure that they are performing their jobs correctly
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field
- 5+ years experience as a facility supervisor
- Must have overall appreciation and understanding of the facility and how their operation effects other areas to allow them to effectively schedule production/distribution through their operation
- Must have experience in PEZA processing
- Must be willing to work in Bacolod
