Julian Valenzuela, current Chief Operating Officer (COO) of VISAYA, was elected as the new President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company succeeding his father during the VISAYA board meeting, January 28. Butch Valenzuela meanwhile remains as Chairman. Other officers ratified were Gigi Gayoso-Teves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer, and Maria L. Valenzuela as Executive Vice President.
This change in leadership comes as the company celebrates its 18th year in the industry. As one of the only few Filipino-owned and managed companies in the local IT-BPM space, VISAYA is also gearing for further growth with a projected 76.44% growth in FTEs in the next two years.
Julian as COO led strategic projects for the company which resulted in him being elected as members of the board for both the Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP), and the Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines (HIMAP) for 2025/26. This commitment to growth is also underscored by VISAYA’s recent membership in the IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP).
Asked about the transition, Julian mentioned, “Every year, every month, every day has to be a leap of faith — because we have to give ourselves the motivation daily to come back in and continue the hard work that we do. I believe in our plan [for VISAYA], it’s just a matter of execution. So I ask everyone to take a leap of faith with me and let’s make a VISAYA that we can all believe in together.”
The company currently operates in three (3) Philippine cities: Pasig (Ortigas), Dumaguete, and Bacolod; and one (1) in the United States: Las Vegas, Nevada.
